THE BEST NO MESS FEEDER FOR ALEXANDRINES

Less seed spray, less waste, less daily cleanup. Designed for Alexandrine parrot cages.

THE ALEXANDRINE MESS PROBLEM

Alexandrines eat with force. Strong beaks and wide movements create mess fast.

Cage-mounted feeders are the most effective way to feed parrots like Alexandrines. By fixing the feeder securely to the cage, food stays contained, stable, and accessible without spilling onto cage floors or surrounding areas.

THE FIX

SEED CUBE KEEPS FOOD WHERE IT BELONGS

Alexandrines need space to eat, but they also need boundaries. Seed Cube controls mess without restricting access or movement.

Food stays inside the feeder during aggressive eating
Icon
Heavy flicking and sorting is contained by the enclosed walls
Icon
No loose bowls to shove, tip, or drag across the cage
Icon
Mess drops back inside the Cube, not onto the floor

CHOOSING THE RIGHT

FEEDER SIZE FOR ALEXANDRINES

Alexandrines need space, strength, and stability. A feeder that is too small or lightly built will flex, shift, or spill under force. Size and construction matter for clean, controlled feeding.

ALEXANDRINE FEEDING AND SEED CUBE FAQs

Alexandrines (Psittacula eupatria) are large, powerful parrots known for strong beaks, deliberate food sorting, and forceful feeding behaviour, making secure, enclosed feeders essential for controlling mess and preventing wasted food.

Yes. Seed Cube is designed to handle strong beaks, forceful feeding, and aggressive flicking common in Alexandrines.

Alexandrines sort, crush, and throw food while eating. Open bowls allow seed and husks to escape easily.

It dramatically reduces flicking by enclosing the feeding area, keeping most husks and seed inside the cube.

Yes. Seed Cube works with dry seed, pellets, and most chop mixes used for Alexandrines.

Yes. The Large Seed Cube provides enough internal space for Alexandrines to feed without restriction.

If housing multiple birds, using more than one feeder can reduce competition and improve feeding access.

Alexandrines require the Large Seed Cube due to their size, strength, and feeding style.

The Small Seed Cube does not provide enough internal space or structural margin for large parrots.

Meet the founders

An Aussie family brand, built for cleaner bird feeding.

Hi, we are Russell and Peita.

Seed Cube started at home with one very determined Alexandrine. After years of cracked plastic, slipped mounts, and constant clean ups, we realised most feeders were not built to handle real birds or daily use.

We set out to build something we would actually trust. That same focus on strength, stability, and cleaner feeding now guides how we approach feeding birds outdoors.

There are now over 10,000 Seed Cubes in use worldwide. We do not build feeders to be cheap. We build them so feeding feels easier and spaces feel calmer.
