Vetafarm Finch & Budgie Crumbles is a premium, all-in-one crumble diet developed by avian veterinarians to meet the full nutritional needs of finches, budgies and canaries. Whether for general health or breeding support, this balanced formula promotes optimal feather condition, strong development and fertility.

Made in Australia from locally sourced grains and proteins, it contains no artificial colours or by-products. The extrusion cooking process enhances food safety, digestibility and natural flavour acceptance.

Rich in vitamins, minerals and calcium, Finch & Budgie Crumbles support healthy egg production, chick rearing, and overall well-being in both pet and breeding birds. This complete diet eliminates seed hull waste, helping to keep cages and aviaries cleaner.

Feeding guide:

Feed as 80–90 percent of your bird’s total daily intake. Supplement with fresh vegetables, insects or Vetafarm Insectapro during breeding if required. Fresh, clean water must be available at all times.

Recommended ratios:

• Non-breeding finches: 90% crumble, 5% seed, 5% insects
• Breeding omnivorous finches: 70% crumble, 20% Insectapro, 5% seed, 5% insects
• Budgerigars: 90% crumble, 10% seed

Daily feeding amounts:

• Finch (15g bodyweight): 2g per day
• Budgerigar (40g bodyweight): 4g per day

To assist conversion from seed diets, moisten crumble with warm water and mix with seed 50:50, gradually reducing seed over several days. Water consumption may increase with this diet.
