Description:

Vetafarm Macaw Nuts is a premium, complete diet developed for Macaws and other large parrots. Formulated by avian veterinarians, it provides all the nutrition needed for long-term health, feather condition, brain function and breeding performance.

Rich in essential fatty acids, protein, vitamins and minerals, Macaw Nuts supports egg production, chick growth and overall vitality. The addition of whole peanuts and almonds appeals to exotic parrots and encourages natural foraging behaviour.

Suitable for South American species such as Macaws, Amazons and African Greys, as well as Australian and Asiatic parrots including Cockatoos and Alexandrines.

Feeding guide:

Feed as 80% of your bird’s total diet. The remaining 20% can include:

• 15% fresh fruit and vegetables
• 5% hand-selected nuts such as almonds, macadamias and walnuts

Fresh water must always be available. No additional supplements are required when fed as directed.
