No. The waffle-weave microfibre is designed to lift dirt without scratching acrylic or stainless steel. It's safe for all Seed Cube materials and cage finishes. Hand wash in warm water with mild soap; rinse thoroughly. Air dry completely before storing in the reusable branded zip lock bag. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Built to last hundreds of washes with proper care.

What's 350gsm?
Grams per square metre. This weight hits the sweet spot between absorbency and durability. Heavy enough to trap microscopic dust and seed debris, light enough to be easy to use and dry quickly.

Can I use this with cleaning products?
Water works alone. The 80/20 polyester-polyamide blend attracts and traps microscopic particles without chemicals. For disinfection, use Vetafarm Avicare spray or microwave the damp cloth for 30 seconds.

How do I use Avicare spray with the cloth?
Spray Avicare directly onto the damp cloth, then wipe perches, feeding stations, and surfaces. Follow Avicare label directions for contact time. Let dry before birds access the area.

How do I microwave it for bird safety?
Dampen the cloth with water. Microwave for 30 seconds. Let cool slightly. Use to wipe perches, feeding stations, and surfaces. Kills common avian bacteria without harsh chemicals.

How long does it last?
Hundreds of washes with proper care. It's a small investment that keeps your bird's environment cleaner and safer long-term.

Can I machine wash it?
No. Hand wash only in warm water with mild soap; rinse thoroughly. Air dry completely. Machine washing damages the microfibre.

What should I avoid?
Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not expose to high heat when wet. These damage the microfibre structure.

Can I use this on wet surfaces?
Yes. Wring out excess water before wiping to prevent flooding cages. The cloth works well on damp surfaces.
