No. The waffle-weave microfibre is designed to lift dirt without scratching acrylic or stainless steel. It's safe for all Seed Cube materials and cage finishes. Cloth: Hand wash in warm water with mild soap; rinse thoroughly. Air dry completely before storing in the reusable zip lock bag. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Built to last hundreds of washes with proper care.

Avicare: Store below 30°C in original bottle. Keep away from direct sunlight. Shelf life 3 years from manufacture date.

How long does Avicare take to work?
Spray on clean surfaces and let sit for 5 minutes. Air dry completely. No rinsing required. It's effective even in dirty environments with up to 20% organic matter.

Do I need to rinse after Avicare?
No. Allow surfaces to air dry completely after the 5-minute contact time. Rinsing is not required for disinfection to work.

Can I use the cloth with Avicare?
Yes. Spray Avicare onto the damp cloth, then wipe perches, feeding stations, and surfaces. Let air dry.

How often should I clean with this kit?
Weekly cleaning helps prevent bacterial buildup in seed trays, on perches, and inside your Seed Cube. More frequent cleaning if you notice visible soiling or in high-use areas.

Can I microwave the cloth with Avicare on it?
Yes. For deeper sanitisation, spray Avicare on the damp cloth, let sit 5 minutes, then microwave for 30 seconds. Allow to cool before use.

How long does the Avicare bottle last?
Depends on frequency of use. One 500mL bottle covers multiple cleaning sessions. Keep spares on hand for regular use.

Is Avicare safe around my bird while it's wet?
No. Remove birds from the area before spraying. Allow Avicare to air dry completely (5+ minutes) before birds return. Once dry, it's safe.
