Description:

Feather Chef Lorikeet Treat is a fruity enrichment blend created specifically for Lorikeets. Packed with paw paw, banana, apple and dried pumpkin, this mix adds variety and texture to your bird’s feeding routine.

While it can be offered dry in small amounts, it is best mixed into your Lorikeet’s wet food to enhance flavour and create a more engaging feeding experience. This is an occasional bird treat, designed for indulgence 1 to 2 times per week alongside a balanced nectar-based diet.

Why this blend suits Lorikeets:

  • Fruit-focused profile: Designed to complement a nectar and fruit-based diet
  • Texture enhancement: Buckwheat crisps and puffed grains add interest when mixed into wet food
  • Controlled enrichment: Adds variety without replacing a proper lorikeet staple feed

Feeding guide:

  • Recommended serving size: 1 teaspoon
  • How often: 1 to 2 times per week
  • Best use: Mixed into wet lorikeet food or offered in enrichment setups
  • Note: Supplementary treat only, not a complete lorikeet diet

Ingredients:

Paw Paw, Currants, Apple, Dried Pumpkin, Coconut, Banana, Chili, Almonds, Goji, Buckwheat Crisps, Wheat Sticks, Hemp, Parsley, Puffed Buckwheat, Brown Rice, Quinoa.

Seasonal ingredients: Some ingredients are seasonal and may not be present.

Allergen note: May contain traces of gluten, sesame, soya, lupin and peanuts.

Pet Food Only.

Sizes:

  • 350g
  • 900g
Treat feeding note: Lorikeet treats should complement a nectar-based diet. Use in small amounts and mix into wet food for best results.

“We are so grateful to the team at Seed Cube for their generous ongoing sponsorship and support of our wildlife rescue and rehabilitation work. Not only does Seed Cube provide a monthly monetary donation, but they also donated some of their amazing and innovative products! We have been using the Seed Cubes with a number of our native animals and they make such a massive difference reducing food waste and mess. They are really durable and great quality, and our animals and volunteers love using them on a daily basis.”

My African Grey goes straight for the banana pieces. I use it for training and it keeps him focused way longer than his usual seeds. Definitely a treat, not an everyday feed.

Jason P.

Finally found a treat my fussy Eclectus doesn’t just flick out of the bowl. Great mix of textures and it smells fresh. We only use it twice a week and it’s become a bit of a ritual.

Chloe R.

My Conure loses his mind over this stuff. I hide it in a foraging toy and it keeps him busy for ages. Love that it’s not just sunflower heavy

Steve L.

Bought the Macaw blend and it’s chunky enough for my boy to really crack into. Proper nuts, not tiny bits. Feels premium

Amber T.

Perfect size mix for my cockatiel. He picks through it slowly and seems to enjoy the buckwheat crunch. I like that it’s clearly a treat, not pretending to be a full diet.

Bianca S.

Quaker approved. I use it as a reward during recall training and it works every time. The reduced sunflower is a big plus for me.

My Ringneck is super food motivated and this has been great for enrichment. I mix a little into his foraging tray twice a week. No waste so far.

SUPPORT NATIVE WILDLIFE WITH EVERY PURCHASE

Every Seed Cube order helps fund the work of Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in Sydney’s northwest. A portion of each sale goes toward caring for injured and orphaned native animals.

Hills Wildlife Sanctuary has been rescuing and rehabilitating Australian wildlife since 1977. Set on 35 acres of bushland beside Berowra Valley National Park, their team of vets, zoo keepers, carers and volunteers provides treatment, long term care for animals that cannot be released, and training for wildlife carers across NSW.

When you choose Seed Cube, you help support real hands on work that protects Australia’s native birds and other wildlife.
