My finches waste a lot of seed. Is this normal?
Yes. Finches and canaries naturally husk seeds and discard shells. This is normal foraging behaviour. Remove discarded husks daily to prevent mould.

Can I feed this to other small birds like budgies?
This blend is formulated specifically for finches and canaries. Budgies require a different blend. Use Forage Gourmet Budgie for proper nutrition.

Some seeds look different or are missing. Is this normal?
Yes. Many ingredients are seasonal and may vary. This ensures freshness and quality without artificial additives.

How often should I replace the seed in the cage?
Replace daily if possible, or at least every 2 to 3 days. Remove uneaten seed and husks to prevent mould and bacterial growth.
