What's the difference between Nutriblend Mini and Nutriblend Small?
Nutriblend Mini has the smallest pellet size for birds under 120g like cockatiels, budgies and lovebirds. Nutriblend Small is medium-sized for ringnecks and Alexandrines (100g-250g). Choose based on your bird's beak size; smaller beaks need Mini.

Is Nutriblend Mini suitable for budgies?
Yes. Nutriblend Mini is ideal for budgies. The small pellet size, fruit flavours and multicoloured appearance appeal to seed eaters and make the transition to pellets easier.

Can I mix Nutriblend Mini with seeds?
Yes, mixing is a good transition strategy. Start with mostly seed and a small amount of pellets, then gradually increase the pellet ratio over several days or weeks until your bird accepts the pellets fully.

Do I need supplements with Nutriblend Mini?
No. When fed as 80% of your bird's diet alongside fresh fruits and vegetables, Nutriblend Mini provides complete balanced nutrition. No additional supplements are necessary unless your vet recommends them for a specific condition.

Yes. Vetafarm pellets are complete and balanced. They should make up 80 percent of your bird’s daily diet. The remaining 20 percent can include fresh fruit, vegetables and occasional treat foods like nuts or seeds.

  • Mini is suited to small birds like cockatiels, conures and lovebirds.
  • Small works for ringnecks, Alexandrines and amazons.

Parrot B-Calm is a complete pellet diet that supports birds prone to anxiety or nervous behaviour. It contains L-tryptophan to support mood balance. It is non-sedative and safe for daily feeding as your bird’s main food.

Start with a 50:50 mix of your current seed and Vetafarm pellets. Gradually reduce the seed over one to two weeks. Birds often accept fruit-flavoured pellets like Nutriblend or Parrot Essentials more easily during transition.

Nectar Pellets are low in sugar, tidy to feed and nutritionally complete.

Forest Fusion includes ingredients like dates, bee pollen and blueberry for flavour and gut health.

Both should make up 80 percent of the diet, supported by fresh fruit for enrichment.
